Ok, so this is a long one! We just got home from a week in Bear Lake, utah for the Giles family reunion. We had a great time, but are now ready to be home and rest! One day we drove into Idaho and did a 2 mile hike to Glacier lakes. Glacier lakes is a series of 3 lakes. The final lake is Bloomfield Lake and is the largest of the three. above is Nick, Savanah, Olivia, Billy, Christi, and Danielle ready to get started!
Olivia and Savanah! It was such a beautiful hike. At bloomfield lake there was a rope swing hanging from a large tree that you swing on into the water. You had to let go at just the right time or else you land on rocks, scary, right? My neices and nephews did it anyway along with my brother in law Billy.

Mommy and olivia! She loved the hike! We had to hold her in some spots, but she walked a lot of it! Then all she wanted to do was get in the lake. there was no shoreline, just rocky, so we had to try to keep her away, not easy!!!

Olivia in Bear lake! It was so beautiful! The water is crystal clear and aqua blue! It's shallow for about 15-20 feet out so it was great for Olivia! The weather was perfect 80-82 degrees during the day and cools off to high 50's at night, PERFECT!!!

olivia had so much fun playing in the water and the sand. She loves being outside!
Oops, mommy put my dress on too soon!! I wasn't done playing in the water!!! Oh well!

Livy really had a great time! She got to know all her aunts, uncles, neices and nephews better! she loved being with everyone!

there was this great playset in the yard. olivia loved it! Except when there were huge black ants on the slide!! Mommy freaked out!!!

Getty up cowgirl!!! Olivia now hates having her hair brushed and rips out all clips and bows, so this is the new look!!!
It was a long ride in the car, thank goodness for portable DVD players and Barney DVD's, they saved the day!!! We had a fabulous week and want to say thank you to Mom and Dad Giles!! We love you!!

What would people ever do without DVD players :) Love the pictures. So glad it was fun and you guys made it home!
Those were fun pictures to look at! I'm glad you all got to get together and have so much fun. All those kids are getting so big and grown up!
